We had a fabulous cruise on Carnival Venezia out of NYC to Halifax, Sidney and St.John in Canada. We got back Saturday and Sunday after church I started coughing & sniffling. This past week I finally broke down & went to the doctor.
It turns out I’ve had allergies & sinuses. The doctor put me on some medication and I finally feel human again. I isolated myself the first week in case I had Covid. Thank God I didn’t.
You might’ve guessed that I’m one of those people who won’t go to the doctor unless I feel really bad & think I can’t get over it on my own. But 2 weeks of DayQuil & NyQuil are too much just to get some relief from a nasty cough.
While on the cruise I developed a new symptom. I hope it’s part of the Meniere’s and not something else. It felt as if I were walking on a sponge. I am still getting it occasionally now that I am home. I did look it up and it could be several things.
Now that I am feeling better I hope to start enjoying life again. Now if the vertigo would just stop already.
